Welcome
Apocalypse Dance Troupe is the one and only all male dance troupe at the University of Florida. Apocalypse Dance Troupe has also the won the most competitions at the University of Florida. We are the Four Times Champion of the Carribean Student Association Fashion Talent Show (2000, 2003, 2004 2006). We are the two times Champion of the Different People One Purpose Talent Show (2001, 2002). We are winners of 2009 Gator Talent night and Soulfest. We, in collaboration with Urban Essence, won the 2008 BET Spring Bling Revamped Competition under the name of Ultimate Alliance. We have also won the Hispanic Heritage Month Talent Show (2004, 2009). Since 2010, Apocalypse has gone on the road to take home first place trophies at USF’s Florida’s Best Dance Crew 2009, RedZone 2010 Dance Competition in Jacksonville, and Enigma Dance Cru’s Glow 2010 Competition in Tampa.
We have been on the campus of the University of Florida since Summer 2000 and we have not only strived to be an incredible dance troupe, but also a professional organization that cares about our community. We have done numerous community service events and exhibition shows for various events such as Dance Marathon (2002, 2003, 2004, 2010), Gator Growl (2000, 2009, 2010), Dare 2 Care 5k Run (2006), Relay 4 Life (2005, 2006), and much more. We focus on making an impact through dance, and positive image for the youth. We want to show them that you can make it to college and have fun while doing it.
